Dr. Michael Husmillo, D.C., D.A.C.N.B., F.A.C.F.N
Dr. Michael Husmillo is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley where he majored in Integrative Biology with an emphasis in neuroanatomy. He did his thesis under the supervision of Dr. Marian C. Diamond, studying the relationship between the immune system and its effects on neuroanatomy. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While attending Life Chiropractic College, Dr. Husmillo received various awards and honors such as the Excellence in Care citation. He completed a 3-year postdoctoral neurology course through the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies in Clinical Neurology. He successfully passed examinations, which led to his Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board certificate. He has also completed advanced studies in the treatment of vestibular disorders, learning disabilities and behavioral disorders from the Carrick Institute for Postdoctoral Education. He can assist in the non-pharmaceutical treatment of vertigo and balance disorders in all age groups and children with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and Learning disabilities.
Dr. Husmillo is committed to providing each patient with an individualized diagnostic and therapeutic approach to assist them in their journey to live a healthy and fuller life.

Dr. Chad Jackson, D.C.
Dr. Chad, a native of Kentucky, completed his undergraduate studies at Murray State University before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. During his time at Life, he met his wife, also a chiropractor specializing in pediatrics, and together, they fulfilled their dream of opening a successful practice in the bluegrass state. Following the birth of their child, the couple felt a strong desire to be closer to family, leading them to relocate to Royal Oak.
Dr. Chad is very active with our local community through his volunteer efforts at food pantries, involvement in youth leadership development programs, and coaching youth flag football. He is Webster Certified, and his dedication and commitment to chiropractic have been recognized by his well-deserved title of Chiropractor of the Year in 2020.

Joe Ferrick
Joe has been with CLS since its inception. Prior to joining the CLS team, Joe was a personal trainer at Lifetime Fitness for nearly 10 years. He graduated from Central Michigan University in 2012 with two majors: health fitness and preventative rehabilitation, along with a minor in nutrition. Joe serves as the clinic's new patient advocate, taking new patients through all the testing assessments and x-rays to determine if chiropractic care is right for them. He is also the clinic's stretch specialist and offers stretching sessions to patients, which greatly compliments their adjustments.

Sylvia Suttle
Sylvia has been with CLS since the clinic opened in 2021. She has worked in several roles at CLS and is now excited to be the CLS Marketing Manager.

Sylvia is a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional with years in the industry. She specializes in digital marketing, focusing on social media, screenings, event planning, and more. She has successfully executed many large events in her career.
Sylvia has also been the artistic director and head of marketing of her own professional contemporary dance company, Suttle Dance, for the last 10 years!
Outside of the office, Sylvia is a professional dance teacher and dancer herself. She absolutely loves teaching and sharing her creative spirit with others.

Dana Forbes-Scratch
Dana is a longtime chiropractic advocate, supporter, and patient. She possesses more than 30 years of experience in the customer service industry, during which time she has cultivated a deep understanding of the entire process and the significance of the end result. Her professional background encompasses a diverse range of event organizations, from intimate birthday gatherings to high-profile million-dollar auto show galas. Following this, Dana made a significant transition into the field of finance with a software engineering firm, where she effectively led a global team. She has since pivoted her career towards engaging directly with customers and now patients.
In her leisure time, Dana takes pleasure in traveling, playing in her garden, exploring flea markets, and planning the next excursion. During the summer months, you can find her enjoying the water. Dana finds fulfillment in her personal life, as she shares it with her husband and wholeheartedly embraces her role as a bonus parent to four children and 3 cats.
